The long region basketball drought is over for the Heritage girls.
The Lady Mountaineers knocked off host Powell 44-33 Friday night in the Region 2-AAA quarterfinals, giving Heritage its first region win since 2014.
It was a goal finally realized for Katlin Burger and the rest of the Heritage seniors.
