Hardin Valley Academy’s Maddie Archdale and Kaden Keller overcame the soggy conditions Tuesday morning and repeated as Region 2-AAA cross-country champions at Victor Ashe Park.
“It was really muddy so I wanted to get out aggressively and tough,” Archdale said. “I had that in the back of my mind that it was going to be muddy, so the weather conditions really affected my time, plus this course has a lot of hills.”
