Senior point guard J.J. Faulkner and the Karns basketball team were on their up-tempo game Tuesday night.
Faulkner poured in 30 points as the Beavers beat Johnson City Science Hill 74-49 in the first round of the Farragut Thanksgiving Tournament.
It marked a homecoming of sorts for former Farragut coach Jon Higgins, who was hired as Science Hill’s coach in early August.
And Faulkner was no surprise to Higgins. Nor was Karns (3-1).
