After serving a longtime apprenticeship at one of the area’s most successful girls’ high school basketball programs, Lauren Trent is getting her first opportunity to be a head coach.
Trent, who has been Paige Taylor’s assistant coach at Oak Ridge since 2015, has been named the new girls’ head coach at Karns.
