During spring practice a couple months ago, Knoxville Catholic head football coach Steve Matthews threw a few passes the way of 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end Tyler Baron.
You know, just to see what kind of hands the four-star recruit had.
And what Matthews, a former NFL quarterback, saw definitely piqued his interest.
