Braylon Harmon, the standout receiver from Knoxville Catholic, had tunnel vision after Briarcrest scored in the first quarter of Friday night’s game in Knoxville.
Saints’ kicker Garrett Dane avoided kicking to the Wofford commit on the opening kickoff, but this time the ball went directly into his hands.
Gaining speed, Harmon found a hole and went untouched — 91 yards to the endzone on the kick return.
“Honestly, if I see a hole, I just got to hit it full speed,” Harmon said. “I saw a hole, I hit it, bounced to the left and went straight to the endzone.”
The kick return set the tone for Harmon and Catholic in their 49-24 win Friday night.
