LA FOLLETTE – Students and girls basketball players of Campbell County High convened an after-hours assembly Friday night.
The gathering on the school gym’s floor was born of joy following a 71-66 victory over Farragut in a Region 2-AAA quarterfinal. Led by Skylar Boshears’ 23 points, the Lady Cougars (28-4) advanced to the semifinals for a second consecutive year. They will face Maryville on Monday at Oak Ridge.
