STRAWBERRY PLAINS — Just 12 seconds into Tuesday’s game, Carter coach Bo Lewis signaled for a quick timeout after watching standout Seymour guard Maci Pitner drill a wide-open 3-point shot with cool confidence from about 30 feet.
“Get on No. 5 (Pitner),” implored Lewis as his Lady Hornets came off the floor.
They did, but it didn’t matter.
