Maryville’s Tee Hodge (44) looks for running room against Farragut’s Dion Williams (8) on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 in Maryville.
Maryville High School star running back Tee Hodge, a Power 5 recruit, could miss Friday’s Class 6A State semifinal game at Oakland (12-1).
His status is questionable.
Hodge exited the state quarterfinals win over Farragut, having scored an early touchdown for the defending 6A champion Rebels (12-1).
Maryville coach Derek Hunt confirmed to 5Star Preps on Saturday afternoon that Hodge has a “crack in his fibula bone.” Hodge confirmed that by text message late Saturday night, adding that he “landed on his leg wrong while he was running. I was dragging someone and when I landed my leg was in a weird position.”
Hodge leads Maryville in rushing touchdowns with 19. He has offers from Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, Missouri and Purdue.
