GIRLS FIRST TEAM
(Class is for 2023 season)
Maeve Thornton, senior, Catholic: The Furman signee and three-time 5Star Preps Player of the Year led the Lady Irish to their third consecutive Division II-AA state team title and won her third straight state singles title; completed her career without losing a match in singles or doubles.
Gigi Sompayrac, senior, Catholic: The Anderson University signee played No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles with Maeve Thornton as the Lady Irish won their third straight Division II-AA state championship.
Lillie Murphy, sophomore, Catholic: Murphy played No. 2 singles and 2 doubles with Eleni Liakonis, helping the Lady Irish win their third consecutive Division II-AA state championship; she teamed with Liakonis and won the state doubles title for the second straight year.
Eleni Liakonis, junior, Catholic: Liakonis played No. 3 singles and 2 doubles with Lillie Murphy as the Lady Irish won their third straight Division II-AA team championship; she teamed with Murphy and won the state doubles title for the second consecutive year.
Riley Cassity, junior, Farragut: Cassity repeated as the Division I-AA state singles champion and led the Lady Admirals to District 4-AA and Region 2-AA titles and a state sectional (quarterfinal) berth.
Allie Faulkner, sophomore, CAK: Faulkner won the Division II-A state singles championship for the third consecutive year and led the Lady Warriors to the state team semifinals.
Jasmine Muecke, junior, Kingston: Muecke reached the Division I-A state singles semifinals before losing in three sets, and led Kingston to District 3-A and Region 2-A titles and a state sectional (quarterfinal) berth.
Ada Aytug, sophomore, Concord Christian: Aytug advanced to the Division II-A state quarterfinals for the third straight season, first going as an eighth grader in 2021.
GIRLS SECOND TEAM
Larkin Bristow, sophomore, CAK: Bristow played No. 2 singles and 2 doubles as CAK reached the Division II-A state semifinals; she teamed with Aiden Stalcup and reached the state doubles semifinals.
Aiden Stalcup, sophomore, CAK: Stalcup played No. 3 singles and 2 doubles as the Lady Warriors advanced to the Division II-A state semifinals; she teamed with Larkin Bristow and reached the state doubles semifinals.
Kylee Hochman, senior, McMinn County: Hockman and Eleni Kurowski repeated as District 5-AA and Region 3-AA doubles champions, earning back-to-back berths in the state quarterfinals.
Eleni Kurowski, senior, McMinn County: Kurowski and Kylee Hochman repeated as District 5-AA and Region 3-AA doubles champions for their second straight bids in the state quarterfinals.
Leah Washburn, freshman, Maryville: Washburn teamed with Madeline Myers and won District 4-AA and Region 2-AA titles for a berth in the Class AA state quarterfinals.
Madeline Myers, sophomore, Maryville: Myers and Leah Washburn won District 4-AA and Region 2-AA doubles championships, earning a berth in the Class AA state quarterfinals.
Alexa Yelenosky, senior, Seymour: Yelenosky went 17-1 with the only loss in the Region 1-AA singles final to Tennessee High’s Ellyson Kovacs, a state quarterfinalist.
Francis Martin, freshman, Webb: Martin advanced to the Division II-AA East Region doubles quarterfinals.
Audrey Stanfield, sophomore, Webb: Stanfield reached the Division ii-AA East Region singles quarterfinals.
BOYS FIRST TEAM
Bayler Cupp, senior, William Blount: Cupp teamed with John Macon and repeated as District 4-AA and Region 2-AA doubles champions, advancing to the state championship match in doubles. He and Macon are 5Star Co-Players of the Year.
John Macon, senior, William Blount: Macon teamed with Bayler Cupp and won District 4-AA and Region 2-AA doubles titles for the second straight year, advancing to state doubles championship this year. He and Cupp are 5-Star Co-Players of the Year.
Quinn Campbell, junior, CAK: Campbell played No. 1 singles and 1 doubles as the Warriors advanced to the Division II-A state championship match; he and Hayden Brady advanced to the state doubles semifinals.
Hayden Brady, sophomore, CAK: Brady played No. 2 singles and 1 doubles as CAK reached the Division II-A state championship match; he and Quinn Campbell advanced to the state doubles semifinals.
Ryan Leckrone, sophomore, HVA: Leckrone played No. 1 singles for Hardin Valley Academy, which went 20-2 and won District 4-AA and Region 2-AA titles; he won district and region singles titles.
Wilder Dewhirst, senior, Webb: Dewhirst was Webb’s No. 1 singles player and advanced to Division II-AA East Region semifinals.
Theo Liakonis, junior, Catholic: Liakonis played No. 1 singles for the Irish and advanced to the Division II-AA East Region doubles semifinals with Ben Snyder.
Tucker Monroe, senior, McMinn County: Monroe won District 5-AA and Region 3-AA singles titles and advanced to the state singles semifinals.
Skyler Floodquist, junior, G-P: Floodquist clinched District 2-A and Region 1-A singles championships, advancing to the state singles semifinals.
Brayden Kennedy, senior, Greeneville: Kennedy played No. 1 singles for the third year and led Greeneville to its third straight District 2-AA title and third straight Region 1-AA runner-up finish to Science Hill; he teamed with Jackson Weems to reach the state doubles semifinals.
SECOND TEAM
Eli Felker, senior, Webb: The Rhodes signee played No. 2 singles for Spartans and advanced to the Division II-East Region tournament.
Ben Snyder, junior, Catholic: Snyder played No. 2 singles for the Irish and reached the Division II-AA East Region doubles semifinals with Theo Liakonis.
Caleb Climer, freshman, CAK: Climer played No. 3 singles as the Warriors reached the Division II-A state championship match; he advanced to the state quarterfinals in singles.
Jackson Weems, junior, Greeneville: Weems helped Greeneville win the District 2-AA title and finish runner-up to Science Hill in the Region 1-AA tournament; he teamed with Brayden Kennedy and reached the state doubles semifinals.
Brandon Latta, sophomore, Sevier County: Latta won the District 2-AA singles championship and advanced to the Region 1-AA tournament; he helped the Smoky Bears to a runner-up finish to Greeneville in District 2-AA.
Jonah Weber, sophomore, The King’s Academy: Weber won the Division II-A East Region singles title and advanced to the state quarterfinals for the second consecutive year.
Chris Plaster, senior, Meigs County: Plaster won District 4-A and Region 2-A singles titles, advancing to the state singles quarterfinals.
