CLINTON — The Clinton High School football team dropped its season opener to Cleveland on Friday night, 49-36, as early-season mistakes and a plethora of penalties set the Dragons back all night.
A night that didn’t go the way Clinton planned, head coach Darell Keith believes the game will serve the Dragons down the road.
“I want to play the best,” Keith said. “I think Cleveland has phenomenal talent. I culture-shock my kids on purpose.”
