ALCOA – Even as a 145-pounder, Dylan Loy seemingly dominated opponents with relative ease last spring. He went 13-1, struck out 164 hitters, posted a 0.42 ERA and earned 2021 5Star Preps Pitcher of the Year honors.
But the left-handed Loy, a University of Tennessee commitment, knew that slight frame couldn’t carry him throughout his upperclassman years and ultimately into the college ranks.
