The TSSAA’s reclassification plan is in place for the next two seasons for high school football.
In some classifications not much changed.
In others, the reshuffling of regions will have a seismic impact on teams in the 5Star Preps coverage area.
Classes 4A, 5A and 6A will look markedly different locally when the season kicks off in August.
Here’s a look under the microscope at the three classifications most impacted by the realignment and the makeup of the regions for the next two years as mandated by the TSSAA’s Board of Control:
