After losing 17 starters from from last year’s state championship team, West Rebels head football coach Lamar Brown didn’t expect to repeat his team’s dominance in 2023 with a younger core of players.
But today, his team is on a 20-game win streak after a 53-0 blowout victory over the Central Bobcats on Friday night.
“I never dreamed we’d be 5-0 with this young football team,” Brown said. “The effort and the focus they have to get better is just unbelievable.”
