OAK RIDGE – The goal is always nothing short of another state tournament, and Oak Ridge’s girls and boys basketball teams look right on track once again early in the 2020-21 season.
One of the state’s top basketball programs swept two games Friday night at Wildcat Arena.
The Oak Ridge boys (5-1, 3-0 District 3-AAA) downed Clinton (5-2, 1-1) for the 24th time in a row, 85-65.
The Wildcats haven’t lost to the cross-county rival Dragons since the 2009-10 season.
Oak Ridge’s girls improved to 4-0 with a 78-52 decision over 2A Alcoa (0-2).
