There’s a time in the fall high school sports calendar when a logjam occurs, as volleyball, girls soccer, football and cross country are all vying for the attention of fans.
That time is this week. While football begins its regular season descent, state volleyball tournaments are happening this week in Murfreesboro and girls’ soccer teams will be competing for spots in next week’s state tournaments.
So here’s what to look for in the TSSAA state volleyball tournament this week, as well as the girls’ soccer region championships.
