Pass-happy Powell got a big lift from senior running back Jarvis Stockton in its wild 60-48 comeback win over Anderson County Friday in the season opener for both teams.
The hard-running Stockton darted for 192 yards on 20 carries and scored three second-half touchdowns as the Class 5A Panthers prevailed over the 4A Mavericks at Powell.
