KINGSTON – Rylan Guettner had strep throat during the week, was out of school until Thursday, and missed all of Kingston’s football practices.
Then he put on a sick performance Friday night.
The junior quarterback/safety rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown during the Yellow Jackets’ 24-15 victory over Rockwood in a non-region Roane County rivalry game.
Any doubt he would play?
