As a college-bound baseball talent and an all-state catcher, Luke Treece is accustomed to trying to track down would-be runners.
But Treece, a senior at Coalfield, also doubles as the Yellow Jackets’ football program starting quarterback.
And on Thursday night, he was the one running with every one else in pursuit.
Here’s how Treece’s dual-threat ability led Coalfield to a 34-25 rivalry game win at Oliver Springs, giving his team a Region 2-1A championship.
