ALCOA — Consider it a rare occurrence when an opponent looks better than Alcoa in a cursory pregame eye test.
The six-time defending Class 3A state champions played host to Columbia High, a Class 5A program out of Georgia, on Friday night. And the visiting Eagles certainly looked the part.
But once play began, Alcoa was the only one raising eyebrows.
