JEFFERSON CITY – At a strong and sturdy 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, McMinn County quarterback Jayden Miller certainly passes the eyeball test.
His on-the-field production likely also turned some heads Thursday at the FCA Team Football Camp at Carson-Newman.
In the opening scrimmage of the afternoon against CAK, the senior completed 10 of 14 passes and directed the Cherokees to touchdowns on their first three possessions.
Miller, one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the 5Star Preps Coverage area, made a concerted effort to shore up his passing in the offseason – and it showed Thursday.
