SEVIERVILLE – Sevier County’s girls had to work overtime Friday night to keep their record perfect.
The Bearettes survived a 57-53 double-overtime affair with rival Seymour to improve to 9-0 overall and 4-0 in District 2-AAA.
The nine victories to open the season is the best start since the 2003-04 Sevier County girls won their first 19 games on their way to a 29-3 season.
