No question, the moment was big.
Saturday afternoon matchup in front of a standing room only crowd.
Rivalry game.
Facing the defending 3A state champions.
But it wasn’t too big for Shane Cherry and the Austin-East boys basketball team.
Behind 41 points from Cherry, the Roadrunners won 69-67 at Fulton, their first victory over the Falcons since 2019.
