Though we try to visit as many 7-on-7 and preseason scrimmages as we can, inevitably surprise players arise that we didn’t see coming.
Or maybe, they go from being a solid player the last time we saw them to being one of the area’s top talents.
Hey, it happens. This is high school football. A growth spurt or summer in the weight room can do wonders.
