The Class of 2023 enters its junior year this fall, and it features one of the deepest pools of talent this area has seen in quite some time.
We’re talking Power 5 prospects galore — especially when it comes to the linemen.
So here is your early look at the Top 30 prospects from the Class of 2023 from our coverage map (70-75 schools).
As always, this list will be FLUID.
That means, players will go up, some prospects will go down, and others will either enter or fall from the Top 30.
There will inevitably be players who will blossom this fall who we maybe we didn’t see or haven’t seen.
That’s the nature of dealing with high school kids. So we will adjust the rankings throughout the fall and into the spring of 2022.
Rankings are based off individual evaluations, Hudl film review, high school on-field productivity, coach recommendations and college offers.
We are not a recruiting service — i.e. … parents don’t pay us to promote their children.
There are a lot of rankings out there. Some valid, some not. We have decades of experience in covering high school football in East Tennessee.
This is our honest evaluation.
So, the first iteration of the Class of 2023 List is below, and it features 30 junior and a bonus list of players we feel could easily enter the Top 30 as their recruiting stock changes throughout the fall and into the spring of 2022.
