OAK RIDGE – Catholic’s amazing comeback Friday night left Oak Ridge in heartbreak.
The Irish (9-3) rallied from a 33-14 deficit in the third quarter and posted a 42-40 victory over the Wildcats (10-3) in the Class 5A state quarterfinals.
Catholic will play host to Central next Friday. The Irish are defending state champions.
