There will be a new QB1 at Northview Academy in Kodak for the 2025 high school football season.
Talk about some big shoes to fill.
Cougars coach Justin Anderson must find a successor to two-year starter and all-state performer Mason Phillips.
“He was a great athlete who brought a lot to our team,” said Anderson.
“You’d like to get one (a quarterback) like Mason every year, but you only get one like him maybe every 10 to 15 years. He could have played any position on the field except maybe in the trenches.”
