Anderson County football coach Davey Gillum’s task of replacing 2023 starting quarterback Izaiah Hall in the offseason couldn’t have been much simpler.
Not long after the Mavericks’ season ended Nov. 17 with a loss at Greeneville in the Class 4A state quarterfinals, Hall’s successor was working out with Anderson County’s returning receivers.
