Meeyah Green walks into a gym like most sixth-graders.
The only distinguishing characteristic is her 5-foot-7 stature. And that’s hardly an outsized feature.
She fits nicely with her Webb Middle School basketball teammates, wearing a backpack and going with the pack-like flow of conversation and energy within the group.
She doesn’t separate herself until taking the court for competition. There she unpacks a wide array of skills.
