When the TSSAA Legislative Council approved, effective immediately at its December 2022 meeting, an amendment to the state’s amateur rule that opened the window for high school athletes in Tennessee to make money off their name, image and likeness (NIL), it did so without an instruction manual to disseminate to users.
An FAQ and also a video from the National Federation of State High School Associations didn’t do the trick.
