ALCOA – Of all the heroes you might have predicted in a Maryville win Friday night at Alcoa, junior Jacob Richmond surely wouldn’t have topped your list.
Probably wouldn’t have been in the top five, really.
But perhaps no Rebels player received more high-fives and adulation following the 30-27 win at Alcoa than Richmond.
The 5-foot-9 linebacker played the game of his young prep career, making game-altering plays early and late to give Maryville its third consecutive win in the series.
