The “Way Too Early Top Teams” usually comes out just days after the BlueCross Bowls end.
But as soon as football ended, we devoted our time and attention to putting on the HoopJam at the Civic Coliseum and then major time went into all-state teams.

Moving on…
We’ve finally made some WAY TOO EARLY forecasts on top area high school football teams for 2023.
So much can happen — injuries, transfers, coaching changes — between Jan. 1 and Week 1 to alter these, but it’s fun to throw out a couple guesses now and see how they pan out come December.
