A hard week of practice can help make a Friday night look easy.
That’s how Webb School of Knoxville coach David Meske explained the way the Spartans were able to dominate visiting Gibbs by a score of 52-7.
“I think everything starts with practice,” Meske said. “If you practice hard and you’re focused in practice, it’s going to carry over to the game. We had a great week in practice. Our kids are intense, they want to do their jobs.
“The biggest thing is, I thought our defense improved a whole lot.”
