Coach Ricky Norris and the Webb School of Knoxville boys’ basketball team were able to breathe a big sigh of relief Saturday afternoon.
And then celebrate.
They defeated rival Catholic for a third time this season, beating the visiting Irish 73-56 in the quarterfinals of the Division II-AA state tournament.
Webb (25-4) earned its second consecutive trip to the state Final Four, which starts Thursday at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville.
