Junior running back Jalen Hill returned Friday night from a foot injury and helped Webb School of Knoxville extend its football season one more week.
Hill rushed for 151 yards and scored five touchdowns as Webb posted a 49-24 victory over visiting Davidson Academy in the Division II-AA state quarterfinals.
He averaged 10.1 yards on 15 carries.
“I was very anxious to get back out there,” Hill said. “I was so excited. I had to get back in the rhythm of things, but after I picked up speed, I got those five touchdowns.”
