Last season, we predicted a grand total of 496 football games, from Week 1 through the BlueCross Bowls.
And we finished with a mark of 403-93 for a winning percentage of 81.3. Now, that took a lot of correct guesstimates late in the season to get that percentage to 80 percent and beyond — because our prediction models did not get off to the greatest of starts in August 2022.
Nevertheless, we trudge forward into a new campaign, one that should feature more parity and wilder finishes than ever before.
