West’s belated start to the 2020 high school football season was an unabashed success.
After having their scheduled season opener against Bearden wiped out (forfeit) last week due to Covid-19 concerns by the Bulldogs, the Rebels showed few signs of rust Saturday night in an impressive 30-7 win over visiting Farragut.
West (2-0), picked by most as a 5A state contender, dominated every phase of play against the 6A Admirals (1-1).
