MARYVILLE — Jack Keith could see it coming.
The Knoxville West linebacker had prepared for Maryville’s two-minute drill during the week and with his team clinging to a one score lead just before halftime, he saw it playing out in front of him.
Keith stepped in front of a Graham Coulter pass and snuffed out a Maryville drive—a common theme for the West defense in its 21-14 non-region win on Friday at Shields Stadium.
The Rebels beat Maryville 31-18 in 2022 in Knoxville.
