MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Parker Noland, Farragut. The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association handed out Mr. Baseball awards on May 22, 2018.

NOW: As a true freshman at Vanderbilt, Noland started 14 of 17 games for the Commodores before the Coronavirus pandemic scrubbed the season. He collected 15 hits, five must-hit games and 11 RBIs (third on the team).

THEN: Noland helped the Admirals win a Class AAA state title in 2019, a season after he collected the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association’s Class AAA Mr. Baseball award. As a junior, he posted Farragut all-time records for single-season batting average (.520) and slugging percentage (.959). He belted 12 homers and drove in 50 runs in 2018. As a senior, Noland was a Mr. Baseball finalist, hitting .464 with seven home runs, 44 RBIs and 42 walks. The Miami Marlins drafted the 6-1, 200-pounder in the 31st round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
