WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Micah Scheetz, Webb School of Knoxville (2016 graduate)
NOW: Butler University recently announced Scheetz as a graduate transfer addition to their women’s basketball roster. Her role there will be to score, as that was what she did at ETSU the past two seasons. In the 2019-20 season, Scheetz reached double figures in 22 consecutive games. Her season high was 29, and she averaged 15 points per game. The year before, she ranked second on the team in scoring and led the team in 3-point percentage. She sat out the 2017-18 season after transferring from UAB. She played in 24 games, starting 13, as a freshman at UAB in 2016-17.
THEN: Scheetz was a two-time Miss Basketball winner (2014, 2016) and two-time state champion (2014, 2015) with the Webb School of Knoxville girls’ basketball program. She averaged 21 points per game as a senior in 2016. And her 28-point outburst in the 2015 Division II-A state final gave her the tournament MVP award.
