The losses off Maryville’s state Class 6A championship football team were staggering, perhaps even historical in nature.
All told, 17 senior starters – including longtime fixtures like Tee Hodge, Cade Chambers, Mason Shelton, A.J. Davis and Ashton Maples – graduated from last year’s 15-0 team.
Still, Derek Hunt refuses to put a cap on expectations for his 2020 Rebels after capturing his second state championship in three years as Maryville’s coach.
