It was prom night for Gibbs on Friday, and that meant freshmen night for the Lady Eagles’ softball team.
With four senior starters gone to the prom, Gibbs (9-4) started six freshmen in a 9-4 victory over Hardin Valley Academy (15-4) in their opener of the Gibbs Invitational at Caswell Park.
