It’s Jesse Smithey. Owner/Editor/Writer of 5StarPreps.com.
When we started dreaming up this site months back, we had planned on some cellphone photos and user-submitted shots … and maybe, every now and then, if resources allowed, we’d splurge and freelance some professional pictures.
Well, we had no idea we’d get guys like Danny Parker and Shawn Millsaps to shoot for us. They’ve really made our site pop and highlighted area high school athletics in ways we never dreamed possible.
So, unbeknownst to them, I’ve compiled some of my favorite shots of theirs from 2018. Some of my photos, Charles Pulliam’s and my friend Darren Reese’s shots made a few cameos, as well.
