In the doldrums of the offseason, this young Maryville boys basketball team wanted to spend as much time as they could inside the team facilities, even when they weren’t required to.
That approach resulted in an impressive run through a daunting District 4-4A, a slugfest to beat their rival on the road to extend their season and now, a Region 2-4A Championship.
